Whistler is a Canadian resort town in British Columbia, Canada. It has a permanent population of approximately 9,965 and larger. Over 2 million people visit Whistler each year. Its pedestrian village has won numerous awards and Whistler is one of the top destinations in North America according to major ski magazines ever since the mid-1990s. Last 2010, Vancouver and Whistler hosted the 2010 Olympics and Paralympics.
